Welcome!
Valley Biodiesel, Inc. was established in March 2006, to produce biodiesel in
California by founder and President Walt Bacharowski. Using manufacturing concepts from the semiconductor industry, Valley Biodiesel produces biodiesel using local recycled fats, oils, and greases as the feedstock, which provides a cost effective disposal process while supplying a renewable liquid fuel to the local market.
The process of opening a biodiesel plant in
California is not an easy one. The permits required take time and patience to procure. However, we are excited to be nearing the conclusion of the permitting stage and approaching the production of biodiesel. Since we aspire to be the model of productivity and safety in business, and quality and reliability in our biodiesel, we gladly did what was necessary to get it right from the start.
Important Notice: Valley Biodiesel was originally known as Silicon Valley Biodiesel. Silicon Valley was orignally chosen for the first facility; however, due to site availability and zoning issues in January 2007, Mr. Bacharowski decided upon Kings River
Technology
Park in Sanger,
California for his first facility.
